Building managers are responsible for the coordination and management of general building security, safety, maintenance, and welfare of occupants.
Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer inquiries from tenants and clients;
- Collect rent money;
- Update the availability list;
- Answer complaints from tenants and find solutions;
- Check-in regularly with the building superintendent;
- Send daily and weekly reports to the general manager
- Oversee the cleanliness of the building;
- Check-up on watchmen and cleaners. Ensure they are in uniform and following their job responsibilities;
- Keep track of staff vacations as well as uniform inventory and relay that information to human resource and the general manager;
Requirements:
- Bilingual, French and English, both orally and written
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A passion for excellence in customer service delivery
- 3 years of property management experience
- Experience with HOPEM
