Building Manager

Ottawa, Ontario Full Time TBD Negotiable

Building managers are responsible for the coordination and management of general building security, safety, maintenance, and welfare of occupants.

Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •  Answer inquiries from tenants and clients;
  •  Collect rent money;
  •  Update the availability list;
  •  Answer complaints from tenants and find solutions;
  •  Check-in regularly with the building superintendent;
  •  Send daily and weekly reports to the general manager
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the building;
  •  Check-up on watchmen and cleaners. Ensure they are in uniform and following their job responsibilities;
  • Keep track of staff vacations as well as uniform inventory and relay that information to human resource and the general manager;

Requirements:

  • Bilingual, French and English, both orally and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery
  • 3 years of property management experience 
  • Experience with HOPEM
